Summer Trip February 2023

This year summer I went to the southern zone of our country, specifically Puerto Montt and Chaitén, the north entrance of the Chilean Patagonia. I went to this place with my family: my mom and dad, two younger brothers and our three dogs: Mamba, Magnolia and Micaela. We started our trip from our house, I live in Maipú. We went in our car to Puerto Montt, we initiated the trip taking Américo Vespucio Sur, and after that we toke the last rites: Ruta 5. This travel has approximately 14-16 hour of duration and an amount of 1050 kilometers.

Our dogs were sleeping all the trip, but we did an amount of 4-5 parades in a gas station to sleep, play with them, eat and go to the bathroom. When we arrived in Puerto Montt, the first thing we did was go to Angelmó and eat empanadas. Also, we bought some food for a week and after that we went to the local beach ubicated in Pelluco. 

After that we went to our house, that it is in the rural zone of Puerto Montt in carretera austral. My family and I went to some rivers like Petrohué and Río Negro, national parks like Alerce Andino and Vicente Pérez Rosales, some volcanoes like Osorno and Calbuco and went to the locations of Hornopirén and Chaitén. In all those places we had the great opportunity to see Kingfisher, a bird of the south of the country.

We stayed here for like a full month, country a part of March. It was a very good trip. Here is a picture that I toke of the Calbuco Volcano.💚
